IVT RIDE

First Transit/Transdev, the third-party operator of bus and paratransit services for the Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC) has been conducting labor negotiations with Teamsters Local 542 (Union) to determine a new collective bargaining agreement.

ICTC is excited to report that an agreement has been reached between the parties. ICTC looks forward to having all the staff return to work and continuing to provide the public transportation services we know are critical to the Imperial County.

All transit services will begin operating under regular operating schedules beginning Thursday, May 11, 2023.

ICTC apologizes for the inconvenience the service disruption caused and we will continue to provide free fares for all services (with the exception of Calexico on Demand) until further notice.
